Common questions
- Where is the best place to invest in Dubai?
- There is no single answer, and a brokerage naming one is usually naming what it has to sell. The right shortlist follows from whether you are buying to occupy, let or hold, whether you want a villa or an apartment, and whether you want something completed or being built.
- Can foreigners buy property in Dubai?
- Non-residents can buy in Dubai’s designated freehold areas, and it is routine. The tax, currency and succession consequences in your own country of residence vary and are not something Abbasi One can advise on — take that advice locally before committing.
- Villa or apartment for a Dubai investment?
- They are different assets rather than better and worse ones. Villas carry land, space and maintenance responsibility; apartments carry service charges, easier management and generally higher liquidity. Which fits depends on your purpose, your horizon and how much involvement you want.
- Which Dubai communities are best for families?
- Among the communities covered here, the established low-density ones with operating schools and amenities have the strongest case — Dubai Hills Estate being the clearest example. In a still-building community those facilities are commitments rather than facts on the ground.
- What rental yield can I expect in Dubai?
- Abbasi One does not publish yield figures, because we have not verified any and a gross number without service charges, management, voids and furnishing deducted is not informative. An adviser can work through a net calculation for a specific property with every deduction stated.
